Emma Havighurst, a junior at West Des Moines Valley High in Iowa, won the girls 100-meter hurdles by clocking 14.67 seconds into a strong headwind at the 114th Drake Relays Presented by Xtream and Powered by Mediacom at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Havighurst, who recovered from a left ACL injury in June, elevated from a ninth-place finish at Drake Relays last season. She also ran 14.67 into a headwind in the prelims.
