The fields for the inaugural .US National Road Racing Championships in Alexandria, Virginia are coming together. The November 17 event concludes the USARC season, as standings leaders Matt Tegenkamp and Mattie Suver lead the way into the 12k event.
Today, the .US Road Racing Championships announced Olympian Shalane Flanagan is set to race. Flanagan, who won the first USARC event of the season, the USA Cross Country Championships, is an instant contender for the .US title and joins fellow Olympians Tegenkamp, Abdi Abdirahman, Janet Bawcom and Molly Huddle as confirmed athletes.
